Optim Energy creates value through developing, owning and/or operating power generating facilities and marketing energy and services in Texas.
We currently own and operate two power plants, 600-megawatts (MW) Altura Cogen and 305 MW Twin Oaks. A third plant, Cedar Bayou 4, is the newest addition to our portfolio. We own 50% or 275 MW in Cedar Bayou 4 and manage the energy for the unit. Optim Energy conducts business within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market.
